1. What Gone Too Soon is for

Gone Too Soon is a memorial space to honour someone who died too soon. It is not a social network: it is a place of remembrance that you create, enrich, and open to relatives you invite.

You gather a name, dates, a message, photos, videos, voice notes, testimonials and, if you wish, a playlist of memories.

Create one or more spaces, each dedicated to one person.
Add memories yourself, or let invited relatives add them.
Approve what guests propose before it appears to others.
Edit or remove the space later, if you decide to.

The space is not listed in a public directory. People reach it through its link. To add a memory, a relative needs an invitation you send.

2. Create a memorial space

A MYWIE account is required. Creating a Gone Too Soon space does not require a paid plan.

Space title (required): for example “In memory of Marie”.
Name of the person (required).
Dates of birth and death (optional). Death cannot precede birth, nor be in the future.
Message or description (optional).
Cover photo (optional): JPG, PNG, WebP or GIF, 10 MB maximum.

Once created, the space appears under “My memorial spaces”. Open it to edit it or add memories.

3. Memories tab

In the open space, the Memories tab takes files: photo, video or audio, with an optional caption.

Accepted types: image, video, audio.
Maximum file size: 100 MB (50 MB if the upload is Zero-Knowledge encrypted in the browser).
As the creator, your uploads appear at once.
An invited relative can also upload, but the memory stays pending until you approve it.

You can delete a memory without deleting the whole space.

4. Testimonials tab

The wall of testimonials collects texts: an anecdote, a word, a memory written down.

The message is required.
A guest enters their first name.
As with files, a guest testimonial waits for your approval before others can see it.

You can remove a testimonial at any time.

5. Playlist tab

A song can carry a memory as surely as a photo. You add a title and a link to a European platform.

Accepted examples: Deezer, Radio France, Qobuz, PeerTube, BBC Sounds, Jamendo, and other European services listed on the page.
US services (Spotify, YouTube, Apple Music, SoundCloud) are not referenced.
A guest link also waits for your approval.

Playback opens the track on the original platform.

6. Invite relatives and moderate

Only the space creator sends invitations. Enter the relative’s email: MYWIE sends them a personal link, valid for one year.

With that link, the relative can add a memory, a testimonial or a track, without owning the space.
Those contributions stay “pending moderation” until you click Approve — or Delete.
You can resend the email for an invitation already created, as long as it has not expired.
If the email does not arrive, the link is shown so you can pass it on yourself.

Without a valid invitation, a visitor cannot contribute. Approving is choosing what enters the tribute.

7. Edit or delete the space

As the creator, you can edit the title, name, dates, message and photo, or delete the space.

Deleting the space is permanent: confirm only if you are sure.
Deleting a memory, testimonial or track is also permanent.
A removed space no longer appears in your list.

Nobody else can edit or erase your space for you.

8. Privacy and encryption

The space is not a public feed. Approved memories are viewed through the space link. Guest uploads stay hidden until you approve them.

Hosted in France / Europe. AES-256 encryption at rest.
No advertising, no resale of tribute content.
Zero-Knowledge: title, name and texts can be encrypted in the browser. In that mode, only you can upload encrypted media files; a guest cannot encrypt with your key.

9. If you are in distress

This space supports memory. It does not replace human help in an emergency.

In France, 3114 is free, 24/7.
It is for anyone in psychological distress, not only suicidal crisis.
A relative worried about someone can also call. The conversation is confidential.

10. Your rights

You remain in charge of the tribute. MYWIE does not write for you and does not approve for you.

Creating a space is free; no paid plan is required.
You decide who is invited, and what is published after moderation.
You may exercise your GDPR rights (access, rectification, deletion) under the service policy.

This notice describes how the memorial works today. Screens may evolve; if in doubt, use the tutorial and support.
