Virtual cards — user guide

Pick a template, write a message, send a link by email: six moods, online reading without an account.

Updated: 20 August 2026

1. What virtual cards are for

You compose a card (title, message, recipient, sender, occasion) from a template, then you can email it. The relative reads it on MYWIE via a token, without creating an account.

  • Six templates: golden memories, ocean mist, light garden, dusk rose, soft slate, festival gold.
  • Occasions: family, birthday, thanks, affection, remembrance, celebration, other.
  • Live preview in the editor.

It is not a paper postcard, and not a required PDF attachment.

2. Create, edit, send

From My cards, pick a template or “Create a card”. The message is required.

  • Send: recipient email, then a MYWIE mail contains the reading link.
  • If email fails, an error shows; the card may still be saved.
  • Public reading of the link: /carte-virtuelle/{token}.

Do not put a highly sensitive secret on a card whose link can be forwarded.

3. Plans

No Famille gate in the controller.

  • Available with an account.
  • Hosted in France, without the ad tracking mentioned on the page.

Journal media stays in the journal; a card is a short message.

4. Privacy

Fields encrypted according to the account (Zero-Knowledge possible on the recipient name).

  • The preview token grants access: treat it as a private link.
  • You can edit a card still in your list.

See the privacy policy.
