1. What the calendar is for

The calendar gathers, month by month, dates that matter: those you enter, and those already in the tree (birthdays, remembrance days).

Monthly grid, Monday to Sunday.
Upcoming list over 12 months.
Saint or feast of the day, depending on language and available cultural calendar.

It is not a shared family appointment book. It is your account calendar.

2. Add, edit, remove

“Add an event” needs a title and a date. A note is optional.

“Every year” is on by default: the event returns on the same date, like a birthday.
Uncheck for a one-off date.
Edit or remove from the event itself.

Birthdays and remembrance days from the tree are managed in the tree, not in this form.

If a tree member has a birth or death date, it appears in the calendar (with age when relevant).

Zero-Knowledge: event titles and notes may be encrypted in the browser depending on your account.

The calendar is not a separate paid option; it comes with your account, like the tree.

If a date disappears: sign in again; with Zero-Knowledge, keys are rebuilt with your password.
